This paper made a first systematic exposition of the correlation on the heat and humidity tolerance for Rosa chinensis with the types, the physiology, the biochemistry, the growth and the development. Furthermore, selecting index in heat and humidity were explored. All of these explorations are to provide reference for selecting new varieties and provide theoretical basis for application and extension in South of Yangtze River basin and South of China area. On the other hand, it will lay a foundation for molecular breeding in R. chinensis.
