仫佬族是中国少数民族中人口较少的一个民族,其在婚姻家庭等方面的习惯法也有一定的特色,例如实行并不严格的民族内婚和严格的血缘团体外婚制,青年男女可以通过"走坡"的方式自由恋爱,但婚姻以包办为主,一般是由父母在"赶圩"时吃米粉谈亲事,盛行"送嫁十姊妹"和"走媳妇路"(不落夫家)习俗等。
