"深"、"鼠"、"碎"、"水"、"笑"等字念塞擦音声母,是闽语一项重要的语音特征.石陂话属一种边缘性的闽语,上述部分"特字"只有擦音的念法.本文找到若干证据,认为"水类字"的"擦音化"现象主要是受了南部吴部的影响.
"深"、"鼠"、"碎"、"水"、"笑"等字唸塞抆音聲母,是閩語一項重要的語音特徵.石陂話屬一種邊緣性的閩語,上述部分"特字"隻有抆音的唸法.本文找到若榦證據,認為"水類字"的"抆音化"現象主要是受瞭南部吳部的影響.

One of the peculiar features in Min Dialects is that the words such as “water,hand, book” are called as “shui group” （水类字）,they are pronounced with affricate initials. While other dialects such as Shibei have fricative initials. Shibei is situated at thenorthernmost boundary of the Min area, whereas it shares many common features with Min, the initials of the words belonging to the “shui group” have changed to fricatives. The present paper argues that such fricativization is a result of prolonged contacts with the Wu dialects.
