This paper discusses the concept, basic characteristics and superiority of digital library, demonstrates two leaps of information resources sharing, elucidates that the digital library is the way to realize information resources sharing, and points out the benefits of the realization of information resources sharing. The purpose of this paper is to illustrate that digital library is a platform for realizing information resources sharing.
