随着我国的"入世"和全球经济一体化的到来,各行业的国际交流日益频繁,因此作为培养人才的高校迫切需要进行双语教学,以使毕业生既具有专业知识又有较强的国际交流能力.不同学科有其不同的专业特点,在双语教学方面也具有其特殊的要求.本文就土木工程专业学生的双语教学特点和实践展开讨论,以期对同类学科的教学提供一定的参考.

With the arrival of ＂entry to WTO＂ of China and global economic integration, the international exchange in every aspect is increased gradually. It is becoming more and more important for universities to train their students which not only have solid professional knowledge but also have stronger international communication skills. Different program has its different professional characteristic, so that there are special demand in bilingual teaching. This paper will discuss the bilingual teaching characteristic and practice of civil engineering students. It is expected that this practice will offer certain reference to the teaching of similar program.
