骨生长受外部应力的影响这一事实从理论上和实验中都得到了充分证明.人体运动对骨骼的直接作用就是产生外部应力,但以怎样的运动方式、多大的运动量和运动强度能促进(或抑制)在体骨的生长这一问题尚处于探索阶段.引用多刚体动力学的人体运动研究,在人体多刚体模型的层面上获得人体运动过程中关节处力与力矩的变化规律,为研究运动对骨生长的影响提供了定量分析的方法.

There has been plenty of theoretical and experimental evidence showing the impact of external stress on the bone growth. The physical effect to the bone brought by the exercise is namely the external stress. However, issues such as what types of exercise should one take and to what extend the training load and intensity could accelerate or restrain the growth of one's bone are still under research and exploration. On account of the kinetical research of the multi- rigid- body dynamics, the variation laws of the force and moment at the human joints can be readily acquired from the human body multi- rigid body models. In this way, a quantitative analytical approach can extend the research of the effect of exercise to the bone growth.
