The identification of the claims opportunities in construction projects is the core of construction management ,and the bottle-neck at the claims decision-making. The information structure of the identification of the claims opportunities was analyzed and its grey description given. Two implements of the indentification of the claims opportunities were proposed and the three work mecha- nisms of their support system were described.
