初中毕业生学业考试是初中毕业和高中招生制度改革的重要组成部分，其性质和任务应有别于传统的中考。学业考试应负有体现新课程的理念，减轻学生学业负担，促进教育的均衡发展等方面的价值追求。学业考试的变革应当是渐进式的变革，是考试的价值取向以及相应内涵的改变，因此，目前迫切需要关注两方面问题：一是如何恰当地确定学业水平标准；二是如何在保证评价真实性的前提下降低难度。

The performance test for junior secondary school graduates is an important part of the reform of graduation system of junior secondary schools and the enrollment system of senior secondary schools, which character and task are different from the traditional graduation examination. The value-orientation of performance test should reflect the philosophy of the new curriculum and reduce students＇ workload and promote the balanced development of education. The innovation of perform- ance test should be a gradual reform and a change of value orientation and the connotation of the test. Therefore, we should pay more attention to the following two questions： how to properly define the level of students＇ performance？ how to reduce the difficulty level of tests on the premise that the authenticity of evaluation is guaranteed.
