该文在指出有关森林生态资源价值计量及补偿问题研究方面存在的主要误区及提出森林生态资源价值计量4个重要观点的基础上，对湖北森林生态资源基础价值进行了计算。结果表明：湖北森林生态资源价值总量为1568．37亿元，年增长量为73．10亿元，其中有形资源年增长量为43．78亿元，无形资源的年增长量为29．32亿元，有形资源与无形资源的价值及增量比大约为1．5：1。湖北不同类型森林生态资源价值存在着明显差别，由高到低依次为：四旁林〉针阔混交林〉阔叶林〉针叶林〉竹林等，森林有形生态资源是森林生态资源的物质基础。针阔混交林、阔叶林、针叶林是湖北森林生态资源的主体。社会自然经济环境对森林生态资源价值有直接影响，不同年度、不同地区社会经济发展状况不同，森林生态资源价值也会发生相应的变化。

The paper points out the main study error area on calculating the value of the forest ecological resources and its compensating and raises four important viewpoints on calculating the resources value. The main results are given as follows： 1）The total value of the forest ecological resources in Hubei is 156. 837 billion yuan. The year growing amount of the visible resources is 4. 378 billion yuan and the invisible one is 2. 932 billion yuaru The rate of the visible resources to invisible one is about 1. 5：1. 2）There is obvious difference among the types of the resources. The sequence of the types is arranged as rounding trees〉mixed coniferous and broadleaf stands〉broadleaf forest〉coniferous forest〉bamboo grove. The visible resources are the substance base of the forest ecological resources. 3）The natural and economic environment has a direct influence on the forest ecological resources. Its value would change in different years and different areas with the situation of their economy.
