In view of building a harmonious society, this paper discusses the requirement of a thinking style which combines ambivalent thought and systematic thought. Taking the Party＇s thought-shifting since 1949 as the entry point, the discussion approaches the issue from the perspective of harmony between human being and nature, harmony among people, and harmony in public management.
