本文分析了图书馆典藏图书损坏现象及其定量评估工作中存在的问题,提出充分利用MATLAB模糊工具箱,根据模糊推理进行藏书损坏定量评估的合理性和现实可行性。结合案例分析表明,应用MATLAB模糊工具箱进行藏书损坏定量评估,有利于最大限度减少图书管理人员的实际工作量,解决其在决策过程中的主观不确定性问题,促进图书损坏评估工作的量化管理。

Bibliotheca losses suffered from staff-and-circling service are firstly analysized and consequent discussions of its numeric evaluation are emphasized. Subsequently, a MATLAB- based fuzzy toolbox is proposed for librarians to conveniently and rationally estimate the extent of damage of traditional media due to servicing. Results from case study show that the subject indetermination in numeric estimation of bibliotheca defects can be smoothly resolved, a great deal of human labors is raised for librarians' other conveniences, the procedure is friendly GUI-based and fool-proof, which is applicable for quantitative estimation of librarian's grading utilization and so on.
