Based on statistical analysis of influence on soil testing data by different engineering geologic drilling methods in Beijing area,influence on physical and mechanical index of clay and silt by rotating drilling and in - hole percussion boring is sumarized. It is suggested that one engineering geologic drilling methods should be used combined with each other.
