Deng Xiao-ping; the democratic political thought
邓小平民主政治思想的基本特点主要有：原则性和创造性的高度统一；朴实性与科学性的有机结合；既发扬民主又强调稳定；用民主的惯例取代强人政治的惯例；深厚的历史感；全方住的开放性。在当前改革进入攻坚阶段的关键时刻，研究、学习与坚持邓小平民主政治思想的基本特点，显得意义尤为重大。

The basic characteristics of Deng Xiao-ping＇ s democratic political thought mainly are： the high combination of the principle and the creativity, the full unity of the plainness and the scientificness, developing democracy and emphasizing stability, taking the place of usual practice of the strong＇s politics by that of the democracy, deep sense of the history, and the openness in all the ways. In the present critical movement of hardest stage for the reformation, it is especially important to research into, study and stick to the above-mentioned basic characteristics of Deng Xiao-ping＇s democratic political thought.
