在一百多年的发展历程中,哈佛大学暑期学校在不同时期进行了许多有益的变革,形成了自己的特色并适应了外界变化的需求;同时,暑期学校在发展中也一直坚持着一些宝贵的教育理念,如进行优质教育资源互补、重视课程开发和综合性教育氛围的建设等,这些都促成了它今日的成功。本研究立足于暑期学校发展的历史,对其不同阶段的发展变革以及背后所遵从的教育理念进行了探讨,试图加深我们对于哈佛大学暑期学校的理解,同时提升我们对于暑期学校功能与作用的认识。

재일백다년적발전역정중,합불대학서기학교재불동시기진행료허다유익적변혁,형성료자기적특색병괄응료외계변화적수구;동시,서기학교재발전중야일직견지착일사보귀적교육이념,여진행우질교육자원호보、중시과정개발화종합성교육분위적건설등,저사도촉성료타금일적성공。본연구립족우서기학교발전적역사,대기불동계단적발전변혁이급배후소준종적교육이념진행료탐토,시도가심아문대우합불대학서기학교적리해,동시제승아문대우서기학교공능여작용적인식。
During more than 100 year' s history of development, Harvard Summer School has initiated different innovations in different periods and has formed its own features. Moreover, Harvard Summer School has been adhering to some important educational principles during its long history such as integrating different excel- lent educational resources, emphasizing on the development of courses and the construction of an integrated education. All these factors combined to contribute to the success of Harvard Summer School. This research is based on the history of Harvard Summer School, discusses its innovation in different period and its educational principles. It tries not only to make us have a deeper understanding of Harvard Summer School, but also to promote our recognition about the construction and development of Summer schools.
