硕士研究生学制改革是我国研究生教育改革的热点问题。西方发达国家硕士研究生学制具有如下特点:学制普遍较短,一般不超过两年;学制有弹性;学制分类,不同学位类别学制也不同。我国应推进硕士研究生教育国际化,缩短学制;保证硕士研究生教育质量,实行弹性学制;发展职业型硕士,以一年学制为宜。

Master student's length of schooling is a hot topic in theory and practice of educational reform for post-graduate students. Compared with American, British, Japanese, German, French and other countries' practice, we know their schooling length is short, in general not more than two years; flexible, different length of different subject's degree. As for China, we should promote internationalization and shorten the length; assure master student's quality and adopt flexible length; develop professional master degree and practice one year length.
