文章结合相关的史籍文献和考古资料对闽、越、闽越的由来及三者之间的关系进行了探讨，指出：闽越文化的发展从整体上说经历了前闽越文化（萌芽）、闽越文化（形成与发展）、后闽越文化（融合或转型）三大历史时期，其内陆性与海洋性的文化特质贯穿始终，对后世福建文化（闽文化）的发展产生了深远影响。

This article, according to historical documents and archaeological discoveries, discusses the cause of Min, Yue, Minyue, as well as the relations among them. It points out that the process of Minyue culture can be divided three periods. They are Pre Minyue culture, Minyue culture and Post Minyue culture. Minyue culture＇s inland characteristic and maritime characteristic run through the entire process. These characteristics have had a far-reaching influence upon Fujian culture of later ages.
