“唐律”是指唐代诗人贾岛、姚合等人的诗歌创作所形成的风尚。南宋后期四灵、江湖诗人致力于追踪这种诗风。刘克庄对“唐律”的特点和它的优缺点,都有很深刻的认识。他对这一问题的阐论,构成了他的“唐律”观,是其诗学思想的重要部分。

＂The Regulated Verses of the Tang Dynasty＂ refers to the style of poems jointly created by the Tang poets Jia Dao,Yao He,etc.In the later stage of the Southern Song Dynasty,the four Lings and itinerant poets committed themselves to this poetic style.Liu Kezhuang had a profound understanding of the features,merits and demerits of ＂The Regulated Verses of the Tang Dynasty＂.His elaborations on it expressed his point of view on ＂The Regulated Verses of the Tang Dynasty＂ and formed a major part of his poetic ideas.
