日本语言经济学研究者指出，语言虽然是无形物，但它有价值和价格，可以像有形物一样进行交易。语言的价值分为理智性价值和情感性价值，二者成反比例关系。语言市场价值主要由语言的理智性价值决定。语言的价值不仅与就业有直接的关系，而且还影响收入水平。日本学者的研究，对中国的语言经济学的研究和语言政策有着重要的借鉴意义。

As is pointed out by Japanese Lingu-economics researchers, despite its intangibility, a language is endowed with both value and price and is tradable as tangibles. A language possesses both rational value and emotional value, which are in an inverse proportion, and the former determines its essential market value, which is in direct connection with one＇s employment and income as well. The research done by the Japanese scholars in this respect can be used for reference in our study in lingu-economics and in our language policy-making.
