Disciplinary librarian system is an effective measure to elevate the core competitiveness of tmiversity library. It has been implemented in the western countries for many years and achieved good experiences and outcomes. To initiate the system, staged objectives, principles, talent introduction and cultivation, motivational measures, assessments as well as specification of position responsibility are key elements to carry out.
