明末清初，郑成功在福建沿海抗清时，即在厦门设储贤、育胄二馆。作为招纳贤才、培养阵亡将士后代的教育机构，它以经世致用、反清复明为教育目的。曾在储贤馆就学的陈永华在台湾创办儒学，参照明朝泉州的教育制度，建立台湾的教育体系，贯彻郑成功的儒学思想，以经学为教育内容、春秋大义为道德准则，培养经世致用的人才，力图在台湾实现王道理想，进而达到反清复明的目的。郑成功、陈永华对台湾儒学教育的创建与影响，体现了闽台文化之间的传承关系。
명말청초，정성공재복건연해항청시，즉재하문설저현、육주이관。작위초납현재、배양진망장사후대적교육궤구，타이경세치용、반청복명위교육목적。증재저현관취학적진영화재태만창판유학，삼조명조천주적교육제도，건립태만적교육체계，관철정성공적유학사상，이경학위교육내용、춘추대의위도덕준칙，배양경세치용적인재，력도재태만실현왕도이상，진이체도반청복명적목적。정성공、진영화대태만유학교육적창건여영향，체현료민태문화지간적전승관계。
During the late Ming Dynasty and the early Qing Dynasty, when Zheng Cheng-gong resisted the Qing in coastal areas of Fujian, he set up Chu-Xian Academy and Yu-Zhou Academy in Xiamen as educational organization to recruit men of worth and to train the descendants of officers and men fell in battles,with studying for application in the life and counter-Qing/recover-Ming as educational goal. Chen Yong-hua that had learned in Chu-Xian Academy established Confucian School in Taiwan and set up Taiwan＇s education system consulting Quanzhou＇s education system at the Ming Dynasty; taking classical works as educational content and taking the grand righteousness of Chun Qiu as moral criterion to carry on Zheng＇s Confucianism and to train talent that should realize Wang Dau Ideal achieving the goal of counter-Qing/recover-Ming. Zheng and Chen＇s creation and influence to Taiwan＇ s Confucian education reflected relationship of transfer and inheritance between Min-Tai culture.
