Marketing and modern management theory and methods are playing an important role in the development process of library science. The article analyzes the concept of marketing and library marketing, the influence of market infounation to the university library and the meaning of introducing the marketing into univeraity library; and the paper makes some expositions on the marketing strategies of university library from several aspects such as building the nlodemization operation mechanisms, file library, infomation service innovation, integration of library resources, strengthen eonmmunicafion of infomation and readers training, foster library imnge and efforts to improve the quality of services.
