采用文献资料、问卷调查、专家访谈等研究方法,了解我国中学竞技体育发展的现状,即目前体育传统项目学校和试办高水平运动队学校竞技运动处于较高水平.指出存在的问题：＂体教结合＂中体与教的不平等,教练员执教水平不足,学训矛盾依然存在,竞赛体制不完善等.提出相应对策的同时,阐明教育系统培养竞技体育后备人才将是我国竞技体育发展的趋势.
