为深入了解农民工的基本生活状态和权益保护现状，采用实地随机调查的方法，考察了江苏苏南、苏中8市农民工的受教育程度、来源地、在城市居住时间、婚姻、生育子女数、职业行业构成和经济收入等状况。调查显示，农民工生活艰难，参加社会保险的人数比例低，合法权益经常受到侵犯，据此认为，在和谐社会建设中应重视农民工困境的解除，加强立法，以使其基本权益得到有效保护。
為深入瞭解農民工的基本生活狀態和權益保護現狀，採用實地隨機調查的方法，攷察瞭江囌囌南、囌中8市農民工的受教育程度、來源地、在城市居住時間、婚姻、生育子女數、職業行業構成和經濟收入等狀況。調查顯示，農民工生活艱難，參加社會保險的人數比例低，閤法權益經常受到侵犯，據此認為，在和諧社會建設中應重視農民工睏境的解除，加彊立法，以使其基本權益得到有效保護。
위심입료해농민공적기본생활상태화권익보호현상，채용실지수궤조사적방법，고찰료강소소남、소중8시농민공적수교육정도、래원지、재성시거주시간、혼인、생육자녀수、직업행업구성화경제수입등상황。조사현시，농민공생활간난，삼가사회보험적인수비례저，합법권익경상수도침범，거차인위，재화해사회건설중응중시농민공곤경적해제，가강입법，이사기기본권익득도유효보호。
To get a thorough idea about migrant workers＇ present living circumstances and the protection of their rights and interests, the authors investigated the rural migrant workers in 8 cities in South and Center Jiangsu. By the method of on -site and random survey they scanned the people＇s educational levels, places they came from, dwelling time in the present city, marital status, numbers they have given birth, occupational structures their employment belong to, and incomes as well. The findings show that the group of people is leading a hard life, with a small rate of joining in the social insurance, and that their rights and interests often infringed. The paper holds that in the building of the harmonious society, great importance is to be attached to their relief from the living difficulty, and legislation should be strengthened to protect their basic interests effectively.
