对湖南省普通高校非体育专业学生体育教育的现状进行研究发现,存在学生的体育课质量不高、课余体育活动严重缺失等问题,这主要与当前普通高校体育教育观念模糊不清、组织管理不力、教师服务学生的知识能力不足和学生普遍缺乏自主活动能力等因素有关。提出了牢固树立学校体育必须服务全体学生的思想、构建学生终身受益的体育课程教材、认真上好体育课培养学生自主活动能力和强化组织管理确保体育服务质量等发展对策。

The authors studied the current state of physical education implemented by common institutes of higher learning on students who are not majoring in physical education, and revealed the following findings: the quality of physical education classes for the students is not high, and there is a serious lack of extracurricular physical exercises, which collectively reflect such a problem: on campus students are lacking in quality physical education services. The authors concluded via analysis that this problem is related to such factors as ambiguous physical education conceptions currently existing in common institutes of higher learning, ineffective organization and management, congenital deficiency of intellectual ability of the teachers to service the students, and the students commonly lacking in self-motivated exercising ability. The authors offered the following suggestions: solidly establish the ideology that scholastic physical education must serve all the students; set up physical education curriculum teaching materials that will benefit the students for a life time; lecture physical education classes responsibly; cultivate the self-motivated exercising ability of the students; strengthen organization and management to ensure the quality of physical education service.
