以问卷形式对吉林省城乡居民身高观进行调查，结果表明：男性身高期望值为177．8cm；女性为167．2cm。65％以上的人身高期望值超过自己的实际高度。崇尚高个的身高观正在潜移默化地影响人们的生活方式。为了长个，15％的人曾试图使用增高产品。如今的身高观已经不再是传统意义上的形体健美、身强力壮的代名词了，更多的则是价值的体现。从社会学和人类学的角度分析了崇尚高个的原因和弊端；对崇高现象提出了相应的对策。

We have surveyed the height concept of urban and rural residents of Jilin Province in the form of questionnaire. Results show that： desired value of height for males is 177.8cm, for females is 167.2cm. Over 65 percent of people＇ s height desired value is higher than their true height. People have placed a premium on their height, this has imperceptibly influenced people＇ s life style. In order to be higher, 15 % of people have tried to use all kinds of products to grow higher. The place where they live （ urban and rural areas are quite different） and other factors. Nowadays people＇s height concept is quite different from its traditional concept, such as beautiful and strong, it has become the embodiment of values. We analyzed the causes and shortcomings of the embodiment of higher height from sociological and anthropological perspectives; we also offered some corresponding responses to this phenomenon.
