《关于正确处理人民内部矛盾的问题》是毛泽东创造性地运用对立统一规律观察和分析社会主义社会矛盾的丰硕成果。毛泽东运用矛盾普遍性原理分析了社会主义社会，明确提出社会主义社会也存在着矛盾，并运用矛盾特殊性原理，具体分析了社会主义社会基本矛盾的特殊表现，不仅认为社会主义社会存在着两类不同性质的矛盾，而且认为社会主义社会的矛盾大量表现为人民内部矛盾，明确提出了正确处理人民内部矛盾是社会主义国家政治生活的主题。为此，他又根据矛盾普遍性和特殊性、绝对和相对辩证统一的道理，采用具体情况具体分析的方法，提出了正确处理各种矛盾的特殊方法。

About the Issues of Correctly Handling Contradictions Within the Ranks of the People is a great achievement of Mao Zedong creatively applying the law of the unity of opposites in observing and analyzing the contradictions in socialist society. Mao Zedong explicitly puts forward that there exist contradictions in socialist society through an analysis of it in the light of the contradiction universality principle, believes not only that there exist in it two categories of contradictions of different nature but they mostly find expression in those within the ranks of the people through a specific analysis of the particular manifestations of its basic contradictions with the contradiction particularity principle, and explicitly raises that it is the principal issue of the political activities in socialist countries to correctly handle the contradictions within the ranks of the people. For this purpose, Mao Zedong advances specific ways to correctly handle all kinds of contradictions in the accordance with the universality and particularity and the dialectical unity of absoluteness and relativity with the means of specifically analyzing specific problems.
