Various preparation methods of magnetic nanomaterials, such as mechanical milling, hydrothermal method, micro - emulsion method, sonochemical synthesis and hydrolytic method are introduced, in addition, the virtues and defects of all kinds of preparation methods are summarized here. Brief introduction is also given to the magnetic nanomaterials application focus. Furthermore, research prospect of magnetic nanomaterials is also presented.
