本文以我国西南地区某高校英语和日语专业229名本科生和硕士研究生为受试,通过问卷调查和访谈,主要从语言距离(心理类型)、外语学习顺序、学习者的外语水平等三个方面调查分析了我国高校外语专业学生第二外语学习中存在的跨语言影响及其体现层面和制约因素。

By conducting an empirical study via questionnaires and interviews among 229 undergraduates and postgraduates majoring in English and Japanese in a southwest Chinese university, this paper investigates the cross-linguistic influences in the second foreign language learning of foreign language majors in Chinese universities, the linguistic levels on which such cross-linguistic influences are exerted and their attributes. The study is chiefly focused on perspectives of language distance (phychotypology), recency of foreign language learning and learners' proficiency in the target language(s).
