本体作为一种能在语义和知识层次上描述概念体系的有效工具，是知识工程及其相关领域的研究热点之一，在图书馆学情报学领域也得到了相当广泛的关注，是当前一大研究热点，在分析现有研究的基础上，通过时本体的描述，提出了自己时本体的理解，并时怎么构建本体，及其应用进行了研究。

Ontology, as an effective means which can describe concept system on the semantic and knowledge levels, is one of the hot issues of the knowledge project and its related fields. Ontology also has been focused on in the Library Information Sciences. This paper gives the author＇s tmderstanding to ontology and makes research on how to construct ontology through analysis on present researches and through the description of ontology.
