电信是知识高度密集的行业,采用领域本体来表示和组织电信领域知识,可以有效地实现知识共享、复用和知识创新。首先介绍了领域本体的常用构建方法,然后针对电信行业知识快速更新的特点,探索了先建立领域本体框架,再通过关联概念至框架分支从而完善本体的构建方法;然后遵循这种方法,采用本体描述语言OWL及本体编辑工具Protégé3.2.1,简捷有效地完成了电信领域本体的可视化开发。

Telecommunication is a knowledge- intensive industry. Telecommurication knowledge can be represented and organized by domain ontology, which can realize knowledge sharing, reusing and knowledge innovation. Common construction methods of domain ontology are introduced briefly. Considering that telecommunication domain knowledge renovates rapidly, a method for constructing domain ontology is proposed which builds ontology flame at first and then completes ontology by associating concepts with corresponding branch of the frame. Finally, we develop a telecommunication domain ontology With OWL as ontology language and Protégé3.2.1 as visual ontology editing tool.
