西南联合大学在8年的抗战岁月里，用执著与艰辛为国家的人才培育、文化承续、社会服务等方面做出了卓越的贡献。本文通过结合西南联大知识分子在抗战时期的心理情感、文化意识、价值取向等，浅析了这些贡献的某些内在原因，为后人理解西南联大提供了借鉴。

During the difficult eight years of the Anti-Japanese War, the Southwest Associated University with strong determination had made outstanding contributions to China that found expression in training the talent, inheriting the fine culture and providing social services. In order to reveal the inner causes of these contributions, the paper analyzes the mentality, psychology, cultural consciousness and value orientation of the intellectuals of this university, which should have much reference value for a better understanding of the Southwest Associated University.
