西北地区煤炭资源丰富,是我国未来能源供应的主要基地。由于自然条件原因,水资源极其贫乏,生态环境十分脆弱。然而,煤炭资源开发必将影响地表生态和环境,也将扰动地下水资源。立足西北地区生态环境特点,根据煤炭开发对水环境的影响特征,以区域可持续发展为目标,提出一套适用于一般区域的水环境影响评价指标体系,为推进煤炭资源合理开发利用与水环境协调发展的量化研究奠定基础。

Northwest China rich in coal resources will become the main base of energy supply in the future. Because natural conditions cause extremely poor water resources, the eco-environment is very fragile. However, coal development will affect surface ecology and the environment, groundwater resources will be disturbed. Based on the eco-environment peculiarity in northwest, as well as the influence characteristic of coal exploitation on water environment, a set of evaluation index system of water environment influence is put forward, with district sustainable development as its aim, The system will lay the foundation of quantitative study on the coordinating development between the water environment and the rational exploitaion of coal.
