近几十年以来，韩国清代诗学研究比其他诗学，如唐宋诗或魏晋诗，有相当大的差距。进入1990年代以后，有关清诗与清代诗论研究的成果时有呈现。在清诗思潮研究方面，清代诗学研究的水平并不高，研究范围也只限于所谓四大诗论而已，但近来开始重视诗歌理论的研究和对中国传统诗论的理解，研究热度愈来愈高，这是相当鼓舞人心的；在作家论部分，清代重要作家如钱谦益、王士祯、袁枚、沈德潜等十多人大约都涉及到了，其中偏重于王士祯、袁枚等诗论，但其研究水平尚不高；在中国诗论部分，最重要的资料以清诗话为中心，国内清诗话研究者不过二十余人，其中本人近十年问集中研究清诗话，把其诗论内容开始应用于唐诗等中国诗学，关于清诗话研究方面的专著仅有本人所撰《清诗话研究》、《中国诗话的诗论》和《中国诗话的理解》。

근궤십년이래，한국청대시학연구비기타시학，여당송시혹위진시，유상당대적차거。진입1990년대이후，유관청시여청대시론연구적성과시유정현。재청시사조연구방면，청대시학연구적수평병불고，연구범위야지한우소위사대시론이이，단근래개시중시시가이론적연구화대중국전통시론적리해，연구열도유래유고，저시상당고무인심적；재작가론부분，청대중요작가여전겸익、왕사정、원매、침덕잠등십다인대약도섭급도료，기중편중우왕사정、원매등시론，단기연구수평상불고；재중국시론부분，최중요적자료이청시화위중심，국내청시화연구자불과이십여인，기중본인근십년문집중연구청시화，파기시론내용개시응용우당시등중국시학，관우청시화연구방면적전저부유본인소찬《청시화연구》、《중국시화적시론》화《중국시화적리해》。
There has been a huge gap in Korea between the study of Qing poetry and that of Tang-Song poetry or Wei-Jin poetry. Yet since 1990s, researches into Qing poetry or poetic theories are found in publications from time to time. In the trend of poetic thought in Qing Dynasty, researches are generally not advanced involving only so-called four influential schools of poetic theory, though the past years have seen growing attention to poetic theories and understanding of traditional Chinese poetics, which is indeed inspiring. In the researches of poets, almost all the important poets have been covered including Qian Qianyi, Wang Shizhen, Yuan Mei, Shen Deqian, with more emphases on Wang Shizhen and Yuanmei, though unfortunately the level is not high. In the research of Chinese poetic theory, notes on poets and poetry made in Qing Dynasty have become the starting point and caught the attention of a couple of researchers in Korea. This author devoted the past decade to the study of notes on poets and poetry made in Qing Dynasty, and has applied some poetic ideas found in the notes to the study of Chinese poetry including Tang poetry. In this area the only three monographs are all composed by this author, which are Study of Notes in Poets and Poetry in Qing Dynasty, Poetic Theory in Chinese Notes in Poets and Poetry, and Understanding of Chinese Notes in Poets and Poetry.
