通过搜集文献资料，挖掘整理了张汇兰与天津近代体育的历史。我国近现代女体育活动家张汇兰20世纪30年代曾在天津任职，是天津河北省立女子师范学院体育系创业者之一，两度出任该系主任，对天津和华北女子体育教育颇有贡献；她积极组织并参与天津社会体育活动，是相当活跃并有组织能力的社会体育活动家；她是天津历史上由官方组织、最早观摩奥运会的中国女性之一，被视为天津“有突出贡献的体育界人士”。

By collecting literature data, the authors probed into and pieced together the history of ZHANG Hui-lan and modem sports in Tianjin. Chinese modem women sports activist ZHANG Hui-lan once worked in Tianjin in the 1930s, being one of the founders of Physical Education Department of Heibei Women Normal Institute in Tianjin, working as the director of that department twice, making quite a contribution to women physical education in Tianjin and north China; she actively organized and participated in social sports in Tianjin, being a very active social sports activist with organizing capability; she was also one of the earliest women officially organized to watch Olympic Games in the history of Tianjin and China as well, and deemed as a ＂celebrity with outstanding contributions in the sports community＂.
