从1999年起，在快速发展的区域经济的支撑下，浙江省高等教育开始超常规发展，在经历了创建高教园区、创办独立学院、构筑区域人才高地、建立高新技术基地、推动产学合作等极具特色的发展模式后，至2005年，浙江省高等教育毛入学率居全国第一。然而，在发展过程中，浙江省高等教育也暴露出办学层次不高、校企合作不深、对区域经济发展贡献力偏低等问题。今后浙江省高等教育的发展，需要提升教育质量，调整学科专业结构，发展研究生教育，创新产学研合作平台与载体。

Since 1999, with the support of rapid development of regional economy, higher education in Zhejiang Province has undergone a hypernormal development. After experiencing several characteristics development modes such as establishing higher education zone, founding independent colleges, constructing regional talent heights, setting up high-tech base, promoting industry-academic cooperation, higher education gross enrollment rate in Zhejiang Province gained the first nationally in 2005. However, during the development, some problems have been revealed with higher education in Zhejiang Province, such as the relatively low school-running level, shallow school-enterprise cooperation, and insufficient contribution to the regional economy, etc. Therefore, the development of higher education in Zhejiang Province in the future should improve the quality of education, readjust the specialty structure of disciplines, develop graduate education and innovate the platform and carrier of industry, learning and research cooperation.
