西部民族地区农村义务教育的健康快速发展，对于提高西部地区经济的协调发展和人口素质，构建和谐社会具有重要意义。本课题组旨在了解西部民族地区农村义务教育发展现状，发现制约西部民族地区农村义务教育的诸多因素，并提出相应对策和建议。

Healthy and rapid development of rural compulsory education in China＇s western minority areas is meaningful for promoting the economy and improving population quality of the west, and for constructing harmonious society as well. This research investigates the situation of the rural compulsory education in the west minority areas, explores factors that restrict further development of rural compulsory education of the western minority areas, and puts up with some countermeasures and suggestions.
