在市场经济条件下，“以工哺农”主要是借政府“有形之手”实现工业对农业的利益回馈，“以工促农”则是借市场“无形之手”实现工业对农业的自然促动。推进我国传统农业的现代化，“以工哺农”与“以工促农”不可偏废，一方面要通过“以工哺农”来为“以工促农”创造条件，另一方面又要通过“以工促农”来引导“以工哺农”的方向。
在市場經濟條件下，“以工哺農”主要是藉政府“有形之手”實現工業對農業的利益迴饋，“以工促農”則是藉市場“無形之手”實現工業對農業的自然促動。推進我國傳統農業的現代化，“以工哺農”與“以工促農”不可偏廢，一方麵要通過“以工哺農”來為“以工促農”創造條件，另一方麵又要通過“以工促農”來引導“以工哺農”的方嚮。
재시장경제조건하，“이공포농”주요시차정부“유형지수”실현공업대농업적이익회궤，“이공촉농”칙시차시장“무형지수”실현공업대농업적자연촉동。추진아국전통농업적현대화，“이공포농”여“이공촉농”불가편폐，일방면요통과“이공포농”래위“이공촉농”창조조건，령일방면우요통과“이공촉농”래인도“이공포농”적방향。
Understanding the market economic conditions, ＂industry＇s feeding agriculture＂ mainly depends on the government＇s ＂visible hand＂ to return the profits from industry to agriculture, while ＂industry＇s promoting agriculture＂ resorts to the market＇ s ＂invisible hand＂to make industry push the development of agriculture naturally. To improve the modernization of Chinese traditional agriculture, both the concepts of ＂industry＇s feeding agriculture＂ and ＂industry＇s promoting agriculture＂are important. On one hand, the former creates conditions for the latter. On the other hand, the latter guide the direction of the former.
