共和早期的罗马教育主要是在家庭内部进行的,由父母和家庭教师对儿童进行启蒙教育,其内容包括道德训诫和知识传授两个方面。公元前3世纪中期罗马出现了学校,在以后的发展过程中逐渐形成一个由初级学校、文法学校和修辞学校构成的三级学校教育体系。这种三级教育体系的形成确立了罗马教育的基本形态。
共和早期的囉馬教育主要是在傢庭內部進行的,由父母和傢庭教師對兒童進行啟矇教育,其內容包括道德訓誡和知識傳授兩箇方麵。公元前3世紀中期囉馬齣現瞭學校,在以後的髮展過程中逐漸形成一箇由初級學校、文法學校和脩辭學校構成的三級學校教育體繫。這種三級教育體繫的形成確立瞭囉馬教育的基本形態。

Roman education was carried out within families in the early Republic. It is a enlighten education for children by parents and private teachers. Its contents were morals admonishment and knowledge education. There were primary schools in Rome in the mid- three century B.C.After that Rome formed gradually an education system of three clear- cut phases,namely primary education,grammnar education and rhetoric education. The education system of three clear- cut phases established the basic formation of Rome education.
