通过对极限运动的概念、特点与休闲关系的分析，提出“极限休闲”概念，揭示极限休闲的内涵与特征，提出极限休闲的环境体系构建。研究结果表明：极限休闲是运动性的休闲方式，是积极性的休闲，已经渗透到文化、教育、生活等各个方面。极限休闲的社会实践活动价值在于实现人与自然环境的和谐统一、物质与精神的统一、体力和智力的统一、身体活动和心理活动的统一；极限休闲是参与性和观赏刺激性活动的统一、现代化生产劳动方式和现代生活方式的统一。它作为休闲的重要组成部分在人们的日常生活和社会的经济发展中占有重要地位。

Based on the analysis of the relationship between the concept and the characteristics of extreme sports and recreation, it puts forward the connotation and the characteristics of the extreme recreation, and the construction of extreme recreation of its environment system.
