本文采用了“进化论”的理论框架，考察了儿童色彩语码习得过程中几个焦点问题。过去的40年里，基本色彩语码的进化论研究，作为一种语言普遍原则，得以广泛的验证与接受。一个值得重视的现象是，基本色彩词汇理论所昭示的发展过程，并没有在儿童色彩词语的习得过程中得到正确的反映与充分的确认。从这个意义上来说，本文考察的内容，有其积极的理论价值。本文共由三个部分组成。第一部分介绍了色彩语码研究的两种主流理论模式，由此引申出儿童色彩语码习得问题的重要性和必要性。第二部分通过跨语言分析对比的方法，针对基本色彩词语进化论的观点，揭示出儿童色彩词汇发展过程中的三个值得思考的问题。这三个问题可以分别表述为：顺序问题、类属问题、难度问题。本文在第三部分中，强调了跨学科研究对于语言学研究的必要性。

The present study concerns itself with some crucial issues in color term acquisition. Over the past decades, a contrastive research model has been formed in linguistic studies to polarize two theoretic orientations in color matters： a study of universal principles in the development of color lexical systems across different languages and a study of the impact of non-intellectual factors such as culture, education and environment on the color naming ability of speakers. There are three parts in this essay. We first examine the theoretic development in color term researoh. Then we focus our discussion on 3 crucial issues reported by cross-cultural studies in color term acquisition. These issues can be further classified as 1 ） order problem, 2） category problem, and 3） diMcuhy problem. We suggest in the last part that a multi- or inter-disciplinary perspective be an optimal approach if we expect to go deeper in the pursuit of language related issues in the new century.
