孔子曾评说春秋是一个“礼崩乐坏”的社会,后世学者将其理解为春秋社会的全然失序,我们认为这一理解有失偏颇。春秋时期的各级贵族在“礼制”上只是顺次对其上一级贵族实行了反动,僭越了上一级贵族的礼制,并将之习惯化,最终将其固定下来,从而形成新的社会规范。我们依据典籍文献,结合太原金胜村赵卿墓出土的考古资料,以春秋晚期棺椁制度的变化为切入点论证了这一观点。

공자증평설춘추시일개“례붕악배”적사회,후세학자장기리해위춘추사회적전연실서,아문인위저일리해유실편파。춘추시기적각급귀족재“례제”상지시순차대기상일급귀족실행료반동,참월료상일급귀족적례제,병장지습관화,최종장기고정하래,종이형성신적사회규범。아문의거전적문헌,결합태원금성촌조경묘출토적고고자료,이춘추만기관곽제도적변화위절입점론증료저일관점。
Confucius once commented that the Spring and Autumn Period was a period of "etiquette collapse, music deterioration". The scholars of later ages interpreted it as a thorough disorder in the Spring and Autumn Period. The present author holds the view that this kind of interpretation is partial to a certain extent. All levels of aristocrats in the Spring and Autumn Period just reacted to their immediate superior in etiquette. They arrogated the rules of etiquette of their immediate superiors and accustomed themselves to the new rules and ultimately consolidated them ; therefore, new social institutions came into being. The present paper demonstrated this viewpoint from the evolution of the system of inner and outer coffins on the basis of ancient books and literature plus the excavated archaeological material from Jinsheng Village, Taiyuan City.
