思想政治理论课教学是高校德育教学的重要组成部分。其根本任务就是帮助大学生树立正确的世界观、人生观、价值观，使其成为社会主义现代化事业的建设者和接班人。完成这一任务的关键就是解决思想政治理论课教学的主体性问题。目前，在思想政治理论课教学中存在着教师和学生两个主体性缺位问题。要想切实发挥思想政治理论课教学的独特作用，就必须强化教与学双重主体性，既要强化教师的主体性，又要强化学生的主体性，并进一步协调教与学两个主体之间的平等互动关系。

In China the course of ideological/political theory is an integral part of higher education, which also plays an ethic/moral role in cuhivating students＇ lofty sentiments, Its fundamental task is to educate students to be the constructors and successors in the cause of China＇s socialist modernization by way of offering them guidance to adopt the righteous values with thoughtfully individual views on the world and his/her life. The key point in the ideological/political theory teaching is how to deal with the absence of the subjectivity of both teachers and students. This is really a serious challenge we are facing to. In order to play fully the unique role of this course efficiently, we should strengthen the subjectivity of both teachers and learners especially coordinate the interactive relationship between them on a basis of equality and interdependence.
