民本思想是中国传统文化中宝贵的历史文化遗产，它既体现在思想家的著书立说中，也体现在统治阶级的政治实践中。通过对晁错徙民实边和贵粟重农思想的研究，我们可以看出晁错的民本思想。徙民实边政策，确保了边境的相对安定，降低了汉政府的财政支出，进而减轻了人民的负担，做到了轻徭薄赋，有利于内地农业生产的恢复和发展。贵粟重农减轻了剥削，在一定程度上救助农民中的弱势群体，并相对提高了人民的社会地位，缓解了社会的矛盾。这样，广大农民安居乐业、发展生产，汉朝国力得到增强，为后来汉武帝反击匈奴提供了物质保障。

The People-centered idea was the valuable historical inheritance in Chinese traditional culture, which is embodied in academician＇ s articles and the political practice. It was obvious that the people-centered idea had been founded according to the research of Chao Cuo＇ s policy of migration to the borders and recognition of agriculture. By those policies, it had reduced the financial expenditure of Han Dynasty and lightened the people＇ s burden; also, it had lowered the weight of forced labour and promoted the agricultural resume and development. To some extent, the thought helped the weaks among the peasants, enhanced the peasants＇ social status and relaxed the social contradiction. As a result, the peasants got a better life, so that they developed the production, which improved Han＇s power and provided a great material guarantee for the Han Dynasty＇s counter-attack to Hun later.
