采用随机采样和统计学的方法研究了黄鳝隐藏新棘虫的寄生特性．结果表明：黄鳝体内隐藏新棘虫的感染率为27．3％，感染强度为6．2条／尾；不同体长组黄鳝的感染率和感染强度不同，感染率范围是23．1％～37．5％，感染强度范围为4．8～8．8（P〉0．05）；隐藏新棘虫主要分布在小肠前段0～3cm范围内，在黄鳝体内呈聚集分布．

The parasitical characteristic of Neosentis celatus （acanthocephala） in Monopterus albus was studied in this experiment with the ways of random sample and statistic, the results showed that infection rate of Neosentis celatus in Monoptrus albus was 27.2%, intensity of infection was 6.2, mean intensity was 1.67, the most worms was sixty - eight founded in one fish. Infection rate and intensity of infection changed with the body length of fishes, infection rate varied from 23.1% to 37.5 %, and intensity of infection ranged from 4.8 to 8.8. Infection rate was maximal when the body length varied from 20 to 25 centimeter, and intensity of infection was the highest with the body length changing from 36 to 40 centimeter, but there was no difference between infection rate and intensity of infection ranging the body length, the rate of infecting six worms was the biggest. The worms were mainly parasite in forepart of intestine, and 65.3 % worms distributed along forepart of intestine from zero to three centimeter. The distribution of the parasites in Monoptrus albus was collective.
