本文以上海市8所高校2006年的人事统计数据为依据，从女教师人数占高校教师队伍总数的百分比以及女教师的年龄、学历、专业技术职务和担任重要领导岗位状况五个维度，分析了高校女教师的生存状态。研究发现，虽然高校女教师人数已经接近男教师，但女教师在学历、高级专业技术职务和担任高校重要领导岗位方面仍然处于不利地位。目前我国高校仍然是一个男性中心主义组织，女教师的生存状态并没有得到根本改善。

Based on personnel statistical data of eight higher education institutions in Shanghai in 2006, this paper studies the career status of female faculty from five dimensions ： gender percentage, age, academic degree, professional positions, and the number of females who occupy the important leadership positions in these institutions. The found suggests that female faculty is still at a disadvantage in aspects of last three dimensions, though the female＇s proportion is close to the male＇ s. Thus our higher education institutions are still male-centered organizations, and female faculty career status hasn＇t been fundamentally improved.
