Ningshan County of Shaanxi Province is located at mid-section of the southern foot of Qinling Moun- tian, and also at the mid-part of the Project ＂Channeling Water from the South Part to the North Part of China＂. The paper summarized the ecological environment development and water resources development and use in the county. It pointed out their existing problems and also made recommendation for their countermeasures.
