大力发展闲暇消费是中国实现现代化的必然要求，其实质是促进个人身心全面而自由地发展。著名消费经济专家尹世杰教授的《闲暇消费论》，坚持马克思主义原理，依据我国全面建设小康社会、构建社会主义和谐社会的基本方略，广泛借鉴古今中外有关闲暇消费的精华，同时对一系列有害观点进行了严肃的剖析与批评，倡导张扬先进文化的大旗。构建有中国特色的闲暇消费方式，这无疑对深入探析我国居民闲暇消费具有重要启示与指导作用。

It is necessary to devote great efforts for China to promote leisure consumption in order to realize modernization. Actually, that will improve the all- round and free development of an individual. The Theory of Leisure Consumption, written by the well- known consumption economies expert, Pro. Yin Shijie, persists on the Marxist principals; researches on the basis of the basic strategy of constructing a well -off and socialist harmonious society in an all - round way; draws lessons from viewpoints, ancient and modem, home and abroad; meanwhile, analyzes and criticizes a series of harmful ideas seriously; and finally, advocates for the advanced cultures and the leisure consumption pattern with Chinese characteristics. His analysis definitely is an important implication and guidance for the resident leisure consumption in China.
