对我国目前工程造价指数编制与发布的现状进行了客观分析，总结了国外发达国家在此方面值得借鉴的成功经验，论述了我国在工程造价指数编制与发布方面与先进国家相比所存在的缺陷和差距，最后给出了解决缺陷问题和缩短差距的对策建议。

This paper gives an objective analysis on the status quo on drawing up and releasing engineering cost in China,and then summarizes successful experiences of developed countries in this aspect, and discusses the existing defects and the gaps between developed countries and China. Finally,it puts forward some suggestions on solving these problems and narrowing these gaps.
