The author has analyzed the necessity and significance of the implementation of the strategy of sustainable economic development in Shen Mu county of Shaanxi Province, which is on the basis of surveying sufficiently to fundamental condition of Shen Mu County. And it has proposed the effective approach for Shen Mu County putting sustainable economic development strategy into practice. That is, to make great efforts to build fine sustainable economic growth environment; to explore the new ways of investment; to improve the quality of introduced projects; to implement excellent talented person introducing strategy ; to establish and improve various kinds of support mechanisms; and scientific planning and constructing industrial zone, to adopt effective way managing the modern zones; to optimize the coal industry structure , to strengthen resources sustainable development; to develop the new ways of economy; and to make it full optimization, upgrade the tertiary industry.
