The authors argue that supply chain management is having a profound influence on the environment and mode of enterprise marketing. It is promoting functions of marketing expanding from the front desk of enterprise management to the back desk, and transforming from the operational level to the strategic level. The authors put forward that, in the light of supply chain management, capacity for agile manufacturing is replacing the final products as a key factor that can be used to promote the enterprise's competitiveness. On the other hand, the optimization of supply chain cost is replacing the strategy of price as a key factor that can be used to bring the enterprises with sustainable competitive edge.
